In the heart of Jerez de la Frontera, between the breezes of the Atlantic and the warmth of the Mediterranean, the Cardenal Mendoza brandy is born. Created by the Sánchez Romate Hnos family in 1781, this brandy pays homage to Cardinal Pedro Gonzáles de Mendoza, who helped Christopher Columbus set sail for the New World.
STYLISTIC
Today, Cardenal Mendoza brandy is still produced following the traditional “Solera y Criaderas” method and each bottle is manually sealed. With a bright dark mahogany color, the olfactory experience is clean and harmonious. It adapts magnificently to convivial moments next to coffee, cigars or as a key ingredient in refined cocktails.
