The Isle of Arran, in Scotland, is a place known for its adventurous history of illegal distilling in the 18th and 19th centuries. Isle of Arran LTD, founded by Harold Currie in 1995 in Lochranza, is the first legal distillery to reopen in 160 years. Today it is proud to be the only company to have 2 distilleries, one in the North, Lochranza Distillery and one in the South, the brand new LAGG.
STYLISTIC
Pioneering and modern in character starting from the shape of its bottles, the whiskies of Isle of Arran make the malt the protagonist through a very long fermentation and distillation that enhance all the aromas of the cereal. The use of pure water from Loch Na Davie, unpeated Scottish malt and a slow distillation enhance the light and fruity character of the whiskies.
