Situated in the Inner Hebrides of Scotland, Isle of Raasay is a small miracle, a distillery opened in 2017 on a tiny island of 161 people in the heart of the Hebrides. It embodies the transformation of distilling from a clandestine practice to a legal and appreciated celebration. Founded in 2017 by Bill Bobble and Alasdair Day, it is the first legal distillery on the island, with a long history of community resilience.
STYLISTIC
Thanks to a transversal taste and expert and delicate aging, Isle of Raasay conquers the majority of whisky lovers. It loves to use woods of different origins such as Colombian oak and French oak ex-Bordeaux which give a broad and intriguing profile.
