Santus Franciacorta was born from the dream of two young enthusiasts, Maria Luisa Santus and Gianfranco Pagano, who since the 1990s have been creating excellent wines, convinced that the task of small winemakers is to be the custodians of biodiversity and all the nuances that nature offers. To enhance the indissoluble bond between vine, climate and man, Santus Franciacorta does not produce cuvées, but bottles exclusively wines from single vintages, enhancing grapes harvested at a higher level of ripeness and therefore each individual harvest.
STYLISTIC
The vineyards, mainly cultivated with Chardonnay and Pinot Noir, benefit from excellent drainage and a sub-acid pH, characteristics that allow for the production of fresh and highly elegant wines. The choice to practice organic and eco-sustainable viticulture is a further distinctive element of the Santus style, where quality comes from living soil and a healthy environment.
