The Bolgheri area is located on the Tuscan coast within the municipality of Castagneto Carducci. A unique terroir, where pebbles from watercourses, marine deposits and volcanic rocks have been deposited on the terraces that descend from the hills towards the sea.
The vines grown are those that have found a favorite place in Bolgheri and developed their own identity: Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, Merlot, Petit Verdot and Syrah. Vermentino is instead the protagonist of the white wines. The vineyard property is currently 45 hectares, distributed in four prestigious areas of the denomination: Sondraie, via Bolgherese, Ferruggini and Guado de’Gemoli and at the Tenuta Ladronaia in the municipality of Cecina.
