The tradition of Romagna wine is a popular and peasant tale, a story of extraordinary and simple people who have kept alive a heritage of vines and culture from which we draw heavily today. This is also the story of the Celli company located in Bertinoro and in the hands of the Sirri and Casadei families, nicknamed Bron and Rusèval – which started with the peasant values of simple and well-made wines and over the years became a reference for the classicism of its territory. After the conversion phase to organic farming, since 2020 all the grapes produced are certified BIO.
Bertinoro enjoys the legacy of Spungone, the organic limestone rock that formed in the shallows when Romagna emerged from the sea. This rock, combined with the presence of active limestone, gives the wines unique characteristics.
