Near Modena, in the heart of the territory dedicated to Lambrusco, stands Villa di Corlo, where Antonia Munari created the headquarters in the splendid family home dating back to the 17th century. Of its 100 hectares, 25 are dedicated to vineyards, in particular, to the breeding of Lambrusco Grasparossa, an authentic expression of the territory.
STYLISTIC
Cold maceration allows to obtain a pleasant lively wine that extracts all the varietal aromas of the grapes from which it comes and that pairs perfectly with traditional Emilian dishes and cured meats.
CURIOSITIES
Villa di Corlo produces the Traditional Balsamic Vinegar of Modena DOP in the vinegar factory located in the attics of the “Villa”, obtained from grape must cooked and aged for many years in the classic wooden vessels. Two types are produced: Extra old, with more than 25 years of aging, and Affinato, with more than 12 years of aging. They are bottled by the Consortium of Traditional Balsamic Vinegar of Modena, in the classic bottle designed by Giorgetto Giugiaro.
